San Lorenzo's coach complains after Tigre's elimination in the Argentine Cup: "The pitch was too small."

Damián Ayude suffered his first defeat as coach of San Lorenzo this Saturday. But beyond the 0-1 defeat against Tigre in the Argentine Cup due to a defensive blunder , the 'Ciclón' was upset by several situations experienced at the Nuevo Francisco Urbano stadium in Morón, including the one the coach himself denounced for a "shortened" playing field.
"I SAW THAT THE FIELD WAS CUT OFF ON BOTH SIDES" 👀 Damián Ayude was asked about the dimensions of the Morón field and some previous issues at the Nuevo Francisco Urbano... What do you think?

"Everything you're saying was told to me, but I did see that the pitch was shortened, on both sides. When we arrived at the locker room, we were set up there, but they told me our equipment managers were working on the other side. I don't know how the choice of venue works, but I do know that Tigre has already played here and it was our turn," he explained in response to a question at a press conference.

The reduced pitch made a stir. Also, the fact that people were changing in the visiting locker room when, according to the official schedule, the home team should have been Boedo. The presence of Sergio Massa , a Tigre man, former Minister of Economy, and close associate of Claudio "Chiqui" Tapia, were negative signals that the Barça officials who arrived in Morón commented on quietly. Of course, Tigre and Morón share a long-standing friendship between fans and institutions.
And when the ball started rolling, they were confirmed. Damián Ayude complained to Yael Falcón Pérez . “The little ones, the full-backs... The goal was our mistake, but then they take you away,” the coach told the referee. “Do you think you lost because of us?” the referee replied as he left the field in a conversation with the television cameras. In the end, to top it all off, the hot water in the locker room was cut off, and they left without showering .
